There has been a conviction and lengthy sentence, a review started into police training, a resignation, an internal enquiry, a focus on exceptions under the law to knife carrying, a media attack on the Sikh community, a cynical call for rage that led to a riot (probably not made up solely of far right racists), a social media persecution of at least two people wrongly accused of being involved, and a general reaction by reactionaries.

The claim that is getting the headlines again is ‘two tier policing’ or ‘two tier justice’. This case, the grooming gangs and even George Floyd are used to present a fiction that ‘the left’ controls the state, the police, the judiciary and the media, and gives minorities and progressives more favourable treatment than straight, white men - especially those from traditional working class communities according to the Farages and Yaxley-Lennons of the world. Another CCFC message board not far from here majors in this self pitying crap.

    But it is not true.

There has been a two tier policing and justice system in the UK for generations. But it is not the one that is claimed across the majority of the mainstream media, the cesspit of X, in Parliament or on the latest manufactured riots. It is the opposite of that fiction.

There are deep and genuine grievances in many abandoned communities in the UK - but they will not be answered by racist myth making.
Very well said. You're a quality poster.

      Re: Henry Nowak

Twenty four hours after I asked, given that we already had a conviction with a promise of a minimum 21 year sentence, an inquiry announced into the policing which saw them seemingly not noticing a stab wound which caused Henry Nowak’s death and a specific request from his family for there not to be political exploitation of the murder, what was Tuesday night’s disturbances in Southampton all about?

Despite Farage actually turning up in Parliament yesterday (first time since Mid March) to disgrace himself further, I’m still none the wiser as to what the justification for what happened on Tuesday night, apart from some vague guff, which flies in the face of any of the available evidence, of a two tier policing system at the expense of the UK’s white population. Indeed, from what I can gather, I can understand up to a belief by the police that they were going to be investigating a race motivated crime committed by a white man as they were making their way to the crime scene, but, surely, once they took in the situation they were presented with on arrival, they should have realised it wasn’t as straightforward as that.

If the riot on Tuesday night was about inept policing , then I could understand it,to a degree, but I’ve not heard a single thing to that effect. If there really is a system of two tier policing as alleged by Farage, Yaxley-Lennon or whatever he’s calling himself today and. a few others eager to milk the situation, then it has been shown to not be working and, although, tragically, this wasn’t the case originally, justice is being seen to be done. Therefore, I ask again what was the purpose of Tuesday night”# so called show of support for Henry Novak?

Mike Mansfield QC .....cardiff 3 appeal barrister I believe

" Nigel Farage is talking dangerous nonsense "

Starmer is totally ineffective but yesterday in the HOC he put Farage in his place . Kemi Badenoch also spoke responsibly . Unfortunately those who who support Farage are hearing exactly what they want , despite the evidence refuting their shouting .

I'm surprised that folk on here - a football message board - don't see these "rioters" for what they are. Not left or right wing or even politically engaged for that matter just low-life scum who fancy a ruck with the police. Most of us will know the type and it's just an excuse to shout, wave your arms around, throw wheelie bins, cones, etc. and drink some Stella/snort some coke.

Does anyone seriously think they're just "concerned citizens"? I doubt if many, or any, were actually aware of why they were there. It's classic group behaviour, encouraged by the likes of Farage, Jenrick, Goodwin, et al. The presence of Tommy Ten Names and Lawrence Fox rather proves the attention seeking element of this gathering of the hard of thinking.

Bring back the reading of the Riot Act. 10 minutes to disperse then let the police crack a few heads open. But then I'm a bleedin' heart liberal!!
not really, you and Jon are talking more measured language and I don't think for one second those who were attacking the police did it for anything more than shits and giggles, using this awful murder as an excuse...

Farage though is an odious individual and needs bringing to heel.

A month ago a white man was imprisoned for the violent rape of a Sikh woman believing that she was a Muslim. No Farage outrage? No articles in the Daily Heil (day after day), no Baroness Fox speech in the Lords. No riots. Two tier? Too right.

Be fair to him, it doesn't fit in with his agenda.

And remember Sarah Everard callously murdered by a “white” policeman. Farage released a video and said “we must not allow the tragic murder of a young woman to turn into attacks on men and attacks on the police”.

                            2 tier Farage.

He must never, ever become PM.
