The Republican Party supported Trump's bullying behaviour and disregard of normality to get results and were supported and imitated by many in the UK.

Those politicians/media giants/lobbying groups are extremely happy tonight because they still set the agenda for potentially the next 40 years in the USA and in the UK and every comment that this was just Trump means their part in things gets forgotten.
