It'll take them a while, but they'll end up with a government that's a hell of a lot more competent than ours, and that's more representative of the wishes of the electorate.

But we don't like central left / right politics as its just Tory lite just ask Momentum , that where Labour were under Blair and now they hate him ,perhaps that explains the incompetency and what we have in power ?

The current German government is an alliance of SDP (the major party of the left) and CSU/CDU (the major entity from the right).
In very crude terms it's theoretically akin to a Conservative/Labour coalition.......

They need to fix their emissions, they are far worse than ours and still digging out fossil fuels .

They have mines that are off the wall big in the Rhine .

We have moved so far quicker to reduce emissions .

I was simply pointing out that the German / Europe politics would not sit well with the Corbyn or UK Socialist type of politics as they have a centre left feel more akin to the current Tory party, our Socialism has very little attraction in Europe the same as the Democrats in the USA they are not socialist .

Europe is more centre left Blair like and I have read on hear so many times how he is disliked and called Tory Lite by a lot of Labour voters ,interestingly that was when Labour was last in power with a huge majority and supporters , there is a message there .

But hey you know all this .

Brown was not Blair , and that stated this rot , you've carefully selected the dying Blair / Brown era ,as your rightly point out the Miliband and Corbyn vote share rose , strangely they never found power.

Think the Corbyn defeat was the worse since 1935 for Labour and even after that they and you still cant see through the fog of the past ,they should form their own fringe party and allow Sir Keir to invite in and back the centralist and get elected its not impossible its about removing the part of the party that holds it back .

Traffic light coalition on the way in Germany?

Social Democrats, Free Democrats and Greens - all saw vote share rises.

If I remember rightly the Free Democrats (right-wing Liberals?) have backed the CDU/CSU in the past in a centre-right alliance.

416 seats out of 735 in the Bundestag if a deal can be done. But that is a very broad spectrum of policies and interests to reconcile.
