Maybe set up, but Trump still comes out of it smelling of dog shit.
I can see why the government were so keen to get their classified documents back asap from that place

Apparently the Trump apologists think nothing of his "minders" allowing him to sit down to a dinner with Milo Yannopolous and Kanye West. Just that a white supremacist, anti-semite that LoM would have seizure about if he wasn't sucking up the Trumpeters, gatecrashed close enough to fawn over the uninstalled one!

I see that, fresh from dinner with trump, Kanye/ye has been telling the world that he likes Nazis and Hitler was a good guy.

"Donald Trump’s businesses have been found guilty of tax fraud, in a significant victory for Manhattan prosecutors who pursued the only criminal case against the former US president’s empire even as he launched a third bid for the White House.

"A New York jury on Tuesday convicted The Trump Organization — whose entities had been charged with illegally reducing the tax it paid on executive pay by awarding top managers “off the books” perks — on all 17 counts following a trial that began October 31.

“The former president’s companies now stand convicted of crimes. That is consequential, it underscores that in Manhattan we have standard of justice for all,” Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg told reporters immediately after the unanimous verdict.

"The decision is the third big defeat for Donald Trump or his businesses in the space of a few weeks, after the US Supreme Court ordered his taxes to be handed to a congressional committee and an appeals court rejected the former president’s request for a special master to review documents gathered in an FBI search of his Mar-a-Lago home.

"Trump also faces a civil case brought by the New York attorney-general Letitia James against him, his children and his businesses, which is set to go to trial in October 2023. A loss in that case could lead to fines in excess of $250m."

All this makes Trump's desire to abolish the US Constitution more strange. You would think that the 5th Amendment might be quite useful to him in the future.

Another of Gluey's that won't make it to the movies.

A Florida Judge sanctioned former President Donald Trump and one of his attorneys Thursday, ordering them to pay nearly $1 million for filing what he said was a bogus lawsuit against Trump’s 2016 rival Hillary Clinton and others.

In a blistering filing, U.S. District Judge Donald M. Middlebrooks accused Trump of a “pattern of abuse of the courts” for filing frivolous lawsuits for political purposes, which he said “undermines the rule of law” and “amounts to obstruction of justice.”

“Here, we are confronted with a lawsuit that should never have been filed, which was completely frivolous, both factually and legally, and which was brought in bad faith for an improper purpose,” he wrote.

Citing Trump’s recent legal action against the Pulitzer Prize board, New York Attorney General Letitia James, big tech companies and CNN, he described Trump as “a prolific and sophisticated litigant” who uses the courts “to seek revenge on political adversaries.”

“He is the mastermind of strategic abuse of the judicial process,” he wrote.

I think that lardy fella was predicting that Dominion would be opening some court cases back in November 2020. They're up to a dozen now.
