Re: The Donald Trump thread
The Democratic-controlled chamber approves a resolution formalising the impeachment inquiry process.
'Trump impeachment: House votes to formalise inquiry'
Two Dems voted No. Zero Republicans voted Yes. At least the Republicans will now be happy that they got the vote they have been shouting about for weeks... Right?

I heard the whistleblower was involved in the putting together of the Steele Dossier that was used to kick-off the Trump Russia Collusion hoax. Big if trueOriginally posted by Heisenberg View Posthttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-50246324

Concentrate on your own financial survival instead. First up, only keep what you can afford to lose in a bank because we're all unsecured creditors for what's kept in them and the very last in line for getting a fraction returned when they blow up.

Re: The Donald Trump thread
Actually, I've had a thought on this. I've been quite shocked on another thread here to see anti semitism expressed with the thinnest of excuses, so I wonder whether some of the irrational hatred we hear toward the Prsident is motivated by this closet anti semitism ?
He's been a friend of Israel and democracy in the region and a great defender of Jews in general, so do they see him as a powerful obstruction to what they'd really like to do ?
