It’s gets harder the bigger the victory is I suppose, but there’s not going to be a challenge is there. However, you know there would have been stacks of them if the roles had been reversed and it was Trump that lost by the same margin..

But both sides are as bad as each other, there's no difference between them.

It looks like I have made a mistake. He hasn't been nominated, the press release states that he will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Make of that what you will.

A quick google search says the head of the FBI is appointed by the President for a fixed 10 year stretch (!) but that appointment has to be confirmed by the Senate.

I don't know the full process for appointments, but wanting to go for a loyalist is probably an understandable thing, even if you don't like it.

He's certainly in a vengeful mood and seeking a long term change in the conduct and role of the state
