What do the Trump cult in here think about him pardoning the White Supremacist Terror Group 'Proud Boys'.

Their motto being 6MWE, “6 Million Wasn't Enough". Yes, they mean the Holocaust.

So Trump has pulled the USA out of the Paris Climate Agreement again.

He has put them back in the Gang of Four who reject it: USA, Iran, Yemen and Libya.

I was thinking 'strange company' - but maybe not.

Absurd to release the thugs who actually attacked police and security staff that day.

That's not their motto is it. I think like above, releasing people for assaulting police officers is very poor, even allowing for the argument that perhaps people were convicted for politically motivated reasons in some cases. I'm still struck by the CCTV videos from inside on the day.

They keep saying "almost all.." released. Does anyone know who hasnt been?

During her hearing Bondi said that cases would be on a case by case basis, this obviously didn't happen, criticism of this decision is certainly justified. I'm sure there have been quite a few pardoned that shouldn't have been. The question is did he just disrespect his pick for AG or was it the plan from the get go.

These religious lunatics are actually more barking mad than Trump himself.!!!!

They'd even be out of place on this loony forum.😂

Most were pardoned, and some received clemency for time served, so it wasn't a blanket pardon.

                      Should be commutation, not clemency.

Posting this again, although I'm sure you've already seen it. I expected it get more of a reaction on here. Maybe that says something in itself.

What should people say? The bishop makes some fine points. He should do what he does with empathy, particularly in my opinion around the Trans issue.

I guess this is where we find out if he's a fascist or not? If the bishop ends up in a camp somewhere then yes. If she, the media and people in the country are free to criticise his decision then perhaps not?

One of the people who served jail time for taking part in the US Capitol riot four years ago has refused a pardon from President Donald Trump, saying: "We were wrong that day."

Pamela Hemphill, who pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 60 days in prison, told the BBC that there should be no pardons for the riot on 6 January 2021.

"Accepting a pardon would only insult the Capitol police officers, rule of law and, of course, our nation," she said.

"I pleaded guilty because I was guilty, and accepting a pardon also would serve to contribute to their gaslighting and false narrative."

Hemphill, who was nicknamed the "Maga granny" by social media users - in reference to Trump's "make America great again" slogan - said she saw the Trump government as trying to "rewrite history and I don't want to be part of that".

"We were wrong that day, we broke the law - there should be no pardons," she told the BBC World Service's Newsday programme.

Former "Maga granny" Pamela Hemphill tells the BBC the Trump government is trying to "rewrite history".
