They are busy triangulating. Balancing the words of Donald, of J, and of Trump. After careful consideration, ring sniffing, and swivel eyed fawning they (at least one of them) is in full agreement.

He just loves saying stuff I think, like with tariffs, Greenland etc….just to leverage deals mainly. Can’t see how this one works out mind, they won’t leave what’s left of Gaza, and when Hamas kick off again which they no doubt will, Israel will just flatten it completely and force them all out….

This is how I see it: they won’t stop until Hamas is completely eliminated, which would only happen if the area is entirely destroyed and uninhabited. He makes extreme statements, so that when negotiations happen, people end up much closer to what he actually wants. If he wanted to buy your £1 million house, he’d start by offering £10.

Yeah the last couple of paragraphs there are spot on. And it has to be said in business it's not a bad approach even if it is confrontational.

The problem is in the geopolitical world you have to be far more sensitive to confrontational or controversial opinions as there are passions far greater than money at play.
