No, I said there's multiple causes coming together. Which is true. You think it was purely down to racial hatred, which is not the full story and you won't find anyone of note who says it is.

As I said put up or shut up, cos you make things up and have a very warped view of reality where setting out scenarios is "trump love" and agreeing with the country on immigration being an issue is "right wing" and saying Starmer has reduced the waiting lists gets you a tonne of abuse.

You never learn. We get a short period when the stream of abuse, outlandish statements and misrepresentations end and then it's back to it. You aren't alone but you are the worst for it and I know others will agree with me.

Secondly, if you can respond maturely, what do you disagree with?

Waiting a few days to form a more rounded opinion?

Not basing long term economic decisions on a couple of days stock market performance?

Continued losses becoming more serious by the day?

This being a pivotal week in the global economy?

A scenario where stock markets stabilize, countries seek to reduce tariffs and companies on-shore?

Or an alternative scenario where those things don't happen?

What is stupid about any of that?

The EU contains a large number of eastern European countries still typically growing faster as they develop post communism - obviously lessening as time passes.

Compare the UK with western European peers - France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and the like. And pick a metric. The difference is marginal on every level. An unmitigated disaster it is not. Nor is it a wild success story. The truth is pretty anodyne.

I know you won't understand/listen/take your rightwing blinkers off ... whatever. We judge Brexit by the counterfactual of where Britain would have been had it not occurred. Everyone who has any expertise will tell you Britain is worse off. But apparently you know better. Cross sectional comparisons are not good guides.

The police footage from within the rioters during the attack on the Rotherham hotel showed conclusively that the overwhelmingly majority of people there were using racist language pouring water on any claim that these were not far right people .....something you have also suggested on here , posted by you
