Re: Zion
There is not a ‘fundamental’ problem of antisemitism in the Labour Party. There is not a single investigation or enquiry in recent years that has claimed that. Why do you think there is?
There are antisemites in the Labour Party and examples of online and in person antisemitism - as there are in all parties and society more generally.
Antisemitism is less prevalent in Labour than in the Tory Party and the political right.
When Jeremy Corbyn made this point - basically summarising the key points from the EHRC report - Starmer took away the whip.
However, most media reports span it a different way. I have asked you before if you
had read the report (or the Parliamentary select committee report into antisemitism) and as usual you refuse to respond and continue to peddle your Mail headlines and other reflex prejudices.
I have read all the reports and followed all of the cases that I can and the vast majority are of investigation or suspension or more because a Labour member (often Jewish) has challenged the state ideology or actions of Israel or defended Palestinian rights.
Starmer claims to be a proud Zionist and denounces multiple human rights organisations (some Israeli) who characterise Israeli policy and practice as apartheid.
If anyone is in denial it is you!
