The Dutch government’s own estimates, 11,200 farms out of the roughly 35,000 dedicated to dairy and livestock would have to close under its policies; 17,600 farmers would have to reduce livestock; and total livestock would need to be reduced by one-half to one-third.

Below is a link to a high resolution version of the video. The Dutch farmer is Jeroen Van Maanen, who is also a protest leader. https://t.co/js3CZwcnCi

You'll find that the same policies are in place here too if you look hard enough.

It's no difference to the half arsed EU idea of subsidies to not farm in UK to favour the French .. no wonder our farmers are now in a spot ...

Surely in this eco friendly world you encourage farming and feeding ones population from within.. not drag livestock products accross continents in crammed vehicles that we could easily allow to roam and breed in each countries land..

This is where the public make an impact if they pay more for UK home products and not seek cheaper alternatives it will benefit UK farmers especially if they can focus on fresh UK food buys rather than on Carling and Strongbow 12 pack supermarket bulk purchases. ..
