I don't think she'll ever be rattled. Although I reckon Kwarteng might have rattled her crossbar on a few occasions.
Did she got to public school like her bank manager ?

Definitely a Blair esque centre Labour government on the way…another 2 or 3 goes of Labour until they implode when they go too far left and split as usual….and so it goes on….Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostShe speaks posh

It really is groundhog day. In my nearly 50 years of existence, it's not changed.Originally posted by goats View PostDefinitely a Blair esque centre Labour government on the way…another 2 or 3 goes of Labour until they implode when they go too far left and split as usual….and so it goes on….
We'll all be 6 ft under and it'll still be the same.
No wonder depression is far more significant these days.

Well a right of centre labour party is my only hope these days , I am afraid the country will never elect a socialist labour party .Originally posted by goats View PostDefinitely a Blair esque centre Labour government on the way…another 2 or 3 goes of Labour until they implode when they go too far left and split as usual….and so it goes on….

If Labour get elected then if they are disciplined and they change the electoral system those of us who don't vote Tory can keep them out forever .Originally posted by Ninja View PostIt really is groundhog day. In my nearly 50 years of existence, it's not changed.

It’s a load of bollocks isn’t it? We need it ripped up and start over…a two party state, any stable middle of the road gov wins and stays until they implode, to be replaced by a slightly different centrist party…..Originally posted by Ninja View PostIt really is groundhog day. Re: Truss is definitely rattled
I know, but he was a Tory. I was there with over a million others to protest the Iraq war too. Did he listen? Based on the fact he was a Tory really, when was the last proper Labour government even? One that achieved rather than imploded like the one in 1974 was it?Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostWell a right of centre labour party is my only hope these days , I am afraid the country will never elect a socialist labour party .

Greed and corruption will always rule goats.Originally posted by goats View PostIt’s a load of bollocks isn’t it? We need it ripped up and start over…a two party state, any stable middle of the road gov wins and stays until they implode, to be replaced by a slightly different centrist party…..
Labour get in for a while on merit of the poor having had enough. They're always powerless to change too much of the damage done by the Tories that preceded them each time.
Back in come the Tories, because the poor get so fecked off that they simply can't be arsed voting anymore through pure disillusionment.
On we go again... Corruption, greed, backhanders from multi-nationals who ultimately rule every economy.
I'm off to find my citalopram 😭

Yes he needs to seize the chance to bring in PR and get rid of them for decades.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostThe middle and centre , including the liberals should unite and squeeze the death out of the Tories
Proportional representation is the way forward
Keir Starmer is a bit cool on the idea but he can be turned
