Have never been one to make predictions and I'm not about to start.
I'm as ready as I can be for any calamity. I have a candle to crouch over should the energy grid go down for an extended period and if a nuke lands nearby I've created a space beneath the sink unit to shelter from radiation fallout.
Pound still holding, the new Iron Lady has got this one.
It seems her plans to throw her mate under the bus is being well received
Not long now for her regardless. She campaigned for the leadership based on what she's about to rip up.

What is interesting now, is how bitter the short-serving Chancellor wants to be. She's already in an untenable position, but add in some of the dirt he no doubt holds getting out there, and it should continue to be a good source of entertainment if nothing else :sherlock:
Certainly seems Kwarteng’s days are numbered - my over riding memories of his Chancellorship so far are, first, his “shock and awe” announcement of the ending of the 45 per cent tax rate when he was clearly so pleased with himself and, second, his walk to the podium at the Tory conference which I assume was meant to be nonchalant, but, as Sludge said, in reality looked like he’d shat himself.
