I wonder if she’d have been better off just releasing a statement than having that as a press conference. It’s like she just made the hole deeper.

So, presuming we are talking days rather than years before she is moved on, how do they select her replacement? Is it the same nonsense again? Because if that’s the case they’ll just select whoever shouts what’s popular rather than someone with an iota of sense? Especially if they’re of colour

I wonder if she would have done better getting Ai Da the robot speaking on her behalf? Ai Da would certainly have been more human and intelligent.

In a true democracy this "statement" would have been made in the Commons so that our elected representatives could have questioned the PM.

Sadly the Conservative party under Johnson and now Truss have trashed our democracy.

Just watched the 4 minutes of questions. I'd listened earlier on the radio and it sounded awful, but it didn't come near to reflecting just how bad it was.
She made Boris` Peppa pig speech look outstanding.
The uneasy looking around for a friendly(ISH) face between questions

I'm not surprised this made things worse.

She's out of her depth, not cut out for it and looks finished.

She's so wooden, she makes Starmer look like a charismatic raconteur. If she does go, people are predicting a general election. Interesting times. Labour haven't been closer to power for quite some time.
What the past few weeks have demonstrated, western governments have very little power and the real power lies with the international banking cabal
