Which of course is welcome news.

It's all very mild and doesn't represent everyones view. The BBC treats it's viewers like a juvenile who must be educated and protected from edgey ideas. They make out it explores all thoughts & ideas but it's false, they only let you go so far. It used to be so much better.
Thinking aloud is interesting but painfully left wing, wouldn't surprise me if Taylor was a full on communist.
In Our Time is the best.

I think it's absolutely right that (care of) the environment is much higher up the news agenda than it was 20, 30, 40 years ago. That doesn't mean that there shouldn't be debate around the merits of policies, protests, unintended consequences of them etc etc etc.

It's a bit of an untouchable subject on the BBC and in some cases may benefit from greater scrutiny.

If you are not interested in pay TV and many people are not , breaking up the BBC would force us to watch nonsense like Channel 5 and CBS reality

And I might add that game of thrones is cobblers too , wether you pay for it or not

Regulars around here will be unsurprised to learn I'm no fan of the BBC.

I'd sooner burn 160 quid, or whatever the licence fee is, than give it to that outfit.

                  They can feck right off!

Do you agree that the BBC should criminalise those who don't pay the license fee?

No but it would be helpful if those who can pay , paid

So you want the BBC to be subscription service then?
