    Shopping at Waitrose and found all the Spam had been bought, I enquired why and they say the demand is off the wall , its their biggest seller this month ..

    I like a fried Spam fritter , with HP Sauce , not cheap anymore though>

    How bizarre. Not just that it’s selling well but that the staff knew specifically how well it was doing
    I’ve never actually tried it

        Spam's among the top survivalist food - an unopened tin of it remains edible for 50 years or more.

        Is there something going on in the world I'm unaware of that's prompting people to prep for possible grub shortages?

          spam is surprisingly popular with people in the far East, there were recently about 100,000 Hong Kong Chinese who moved to the UK, I would expect to see some increase in demand due to this alone, probably a lot more Hong kongers here than survivalists
