I can't say I know an enormous amount about Brazil and what is happening on the ground aside from the Covid situation, which Bolsanaro clearly mishandled and said some rather outrageous things.
I suspect there are reasons millions voted for him and Lula will have to reach out to what is evidently a pretty divided society. I think their parliament is still aligned to Bolsanaro too, making his job harder.
I wouldn't be suprised if there isn't another election sooner than later or that for one reason or other this all drags on, unfortunately. It matters given the importance and size of Brazil.Comment

Bolsanaro is worse than anyone we’ve got over here and it’s only a good thing he’s gone (if he does go, I’m sure he won’t take defeat gracefully).Comment
