She knows what she's doing. There's a buffer zone around the clinic (For good reason) And she encroached on it. Woman using these clinics are probably not feeling great, they don't need this woman imposing herself on them. Plenty of Anti Abortionists are fanatics, they give moderate catholics a bad name.

But WHY should there be a buffer zone??? She is NOT imposing on them.... ...surely someone has the right to just STAND there...not speaking...just thinking.....and silently praying?? She was not enticing them to turn around...

I’m not really sure why she was asked if she was praying. But it wasn’t the reason she was arrested.

Not in the buffer zone. Women have been attacked and made to feel incredibly uncomfortable by these protesters, over a decision that is personal, probably very difficult, and completely legal in this country (Thank God-sorry for being sarcastic) God doesn't care where a person prays, it'll still get to him if you believe. She knows what she is doing and i'm glad that she was arrested.

She was arrested for breaching a Public Space Protection Order. It wasn't the first time she was there (4 times previously). Apparently she’s well known for this. The PSPO protects the privacy of women and girls using the clinic, & prevents intimidation. She's free to pray, just not there.

If there were no buffer zone, a huge number of such people could simply stand, albeit silently, outside a clinic and make life very uneasy for those visiting it. The praying reference is a red herring.

So people are no longer allowed to stand in silence in a public space....even if in a so called buffer zone. Was she doing any harm???

Smacks of 1930's socialism in Germany. Rocky road....

It's not difficult to understand. She isn't supposed to be there, seems like she's been told before as well. Can't you see that?
