  • Who's right?

    The fawning national newspapers.

King Charles III's first Christmas Day speech dominates the headlines as papers reflect on his message.

Some people prefer to be infantilised and believe in Kings and Queens - and go along with the corruption and privilege that surround them, hereditary peerages and the honours system included.
But look how much stability and how many tourists they give us, cry the forelock-tuggers!

Catholics who are royalists is an interesting concept - as one of them may not not have become sovereign nor marry one until 2013, I believe.

Came into effect in 2015. Although a Catholic can't sit on the throne, so to speak.

Please don't put words in my mouth Bob.

I haven't bothered to look at either, because on past forn I know the sort of bilge both sides in this argument write

I' m certainly not going to waste my precious time over Christmas looking at this sort of junk.

As I have found in the past few months life is too precious.

Well, if you can't be bothered to look at either of the links, why bother making a comment in the first place? True, the second link comes at the subject from a certain angle, but it's hardly "junk" - a lot of what they say is a matter of public record.

Yes, what's so significant about this post is that it's heading suggests one view is right and one isn't. for heaven's sake it's just opinions - give it a rest.

What on earth is morally superior about feeling that much of what the MSM and left wing sites such Novara write is junk?

Isn’t this board supposed to be about just opinions?
