  • Earthquake..

Anyone else feel that Tremor just before midnight yesterday? I thought that someone was trying to break in through the back of the house, lasted a couple of seconds. Think the epicentre was Brynmawr.

    Re: Earthquake..

Felt something in Cardiff, was a bit like if someone slightly moved the sofa whilst I was on it. Of course it didn't really move at all but that feeling for a second.

Was half asleep so thought nothing of it until I heard about it on the radio this morning.

I heard, rather than felt it. Had a WTF was that!? moment.
Thought something had fallen in the house.
Didn't realise till this morning what it was.

          Slept through it unfortunately.
Meanwhile there was another 5.5 quake in Turkey a couple of hours ago.

Oh it was an earthquake, pity! I was feeling proud of myself. After a little bedroom romp the missus whispered gently in my ear.."did the Earth move for you too darling?"

I remember there was one in about 1990. There was a similar one in NYC about 10 years ago. Never experienced the real deal though. My Mrs has. The big one in Northridge CA.

This is the only scenario I can think of where you’d hear the words Brynmawr and epicentre in the same sentence.
