    Guns N Roses

Christ what a torture trip that would be for me . I couldn't stand his cat voice the first time around . Just seen a clip of them on the news and they looked shot to bits .

I take my hat off to people who are into festivals but its a young man's game

It's all very well dancing around a table in a field cabbaged off your head but these days I like to be in bed at a fair time and have a shower on my own not with a load of hairy students .

Allegations included one from a woman named Jane Nevin, who claimed in 2012 that she became pregnant by Peel during a three-month affair when she was a 15-year-old schoolgirl in 1969.

the stage is now going to be called woodsies this year

I had no idea of these allegations but there are loads of them

I can understand why they have renamed the stage in this case

A young guy of 21 copping off with 21 year old students?

              As you were

A young guy of 21 copping off with 13 year old girls ?

              Mmmm

Nowt wrong with G'n'R, was never a fan of Axl, but no denying their greatness.
Slash is an incredible guitarist, literally made that band.
Listen to his two "Snakepit" albums, both really are brilliant. His later solo stuff was a lot weaker for some reason, but if you like your rock music hard, I promise you that both those albums are well worth a listen.
Different singer on each album, but both great

I saw GnR in Milton Keynes bowl ( google tells me it was 93 , I thought it was a few years later, but I saw Bon Jovi the same year, which was 93 ) I wasnt overly into that music at the time ( I was into the rave / madchester scene ) but went along with my brother

that time must have been the peak for them, it started to fall apart after that

Appetite ( with sweet child, paradise city and welcome to the jungle ) and Illusions ( nov rain & knocking on heavens door ) are 3 great albums and well worth to be on anyones play list

early days I dont think you could have come up with a better line up, Axl is a lead man, Slash is great guitarist, Adlet on drums, Izzy and Duff backing singers and bass guitars

I saw Velvet revolver in the CIA ( motorpoint etc etc ) with Slash and Duff and Sorum ( all ex GnR ) which was a bit of a GnR thing, Slash knows how way around a Guitar ( another quick google tells me that was 2007, I had it down as only a few years ago  old age is creeping up )

any band that walks on stage with a jack daniels bottle skinny leather pants and a fecking top hat is a no from me.

Glastonbury has definitely had its day…..what a unique place it was to spend a week of your life. It was a right struggle to get to see all the bands here and there, little gigs or djs sets that weren’t advertised….1994-2004

                          I love rock and metal

But guns n roses were hugely over rated in my view and stole a lot from Aerosmith who were the masters of that genre

                          Very sleazy hard rock

Embarrassing to see them performing now , they look completely sunk

They shone brightly if that sort of rock was your thing but burnt out in no time , by 93 they were done

My opinion is they really wernt very good to start with

November rain is in my view absolutely awful pompous dirge

                            I can't stand his voice

Don’t get Glastonbury,if you want to see Guns n roses go to the gig in Hyde park with the real fans.
