Re: Friday April 7th
We need 9 points but I can't see us getting them in those 3 gamesOriginally posted by tforturton View PostHopefully we'll be sitting a bit better in the table by then, but still - Rotherham, Swansea, Blackpool. Three games we should win. 9 points, and we're almost certainly safe.
A win and two draws out of those , 5 points ?

Blackpool have the easiest run in, could easily get 14 points from their remaining games. It’s a must not lose game.Originally posted by dembethewarrior View Post9 points plus the 4 point gap
They'll need 14 points (Blackpool) to overtake us.
I don't think they'll get that many, meaning we won't need as many.

Re: Friday April 7th
Why do you think we should win our next three matches when there's nothing in our season so far which suggests we will do? By the same token, we shouldn't lose all three either, but Rotherham score a lot of goals at home, Blackpool have not lost at home in six and we all know about our recent record against the jacks - I agree that nine points should see us safe, but, Huddersfield apart, I don't see many games we could fancy ourselves for three points from in our last six matches if our next three go against us.Originally posted by tforturton View PostHopefully we'll be sitting a bit better in the table by then, but still - Rotherham, Swansea, Blackpool. History aside. Why dont you fancy us v Swansea. They are in free fall. A really poor team with a shocking defence and goalkeeper.Originally posted by the other bob wilson View PostWhy do you think we should win our next three matches when there's nothing in our season so far which suggests we will do? The Jacks I know are bricking themselves.
We really should win this one.
5 points will be ok if its 3 v Swansea and draws with Rotherham and Blackpool.

We could just as likely lose every one of those games. Still 50/50 for me, and down to wire.Originally posted by tforturton View PostHopefully we'll be sitting a bit better in the table by then, but still - Rotherham, Swansea, Blackpool. All six pointer's beating the teams around us over the season will keep us up.Originally posted by tforturton View PostHopefully we'll be sitting a bit better in the table by then, but still - Rotherham, Swansea, Blackpool. Three games we should win. 9 points, and we're almost certainly safe.
Not easy games especially Swansea due to their style not suiting us and mentally we don't see be able to raise our game to the same level that they do. They are on a dreadful run though and the bottom two for form with QPR over almost all numbers of recent games.
Our recent form is better than all of them, but being away gives Blackpool and Rotherham the advantage.
It's an interesting batch of games and will give us a true indication of how much we've improved, six points would be enough to push us away from danger, hopefully, Robinson is back for one or two.

Form over the season says they've gotten 0.94 points per game. I know this can raise when you're fighting for your life, but by 50 percent??Originally posted by Des Parrot View PostBlackpool have the easiest run in, could easily get 14 points from their remaining games. It’s a must not lose game.
We're alright pal.
