But it was probably a couple of utterly disgusting PMs I received at the end of a hard day's work a few months ago. They pretty much put the lid on it. No time for that kind of shit.

I wish you the very best on your journey to mental well being

I suggest a course of mindfulness and anger management

Let's be honest, considering your history, you're probably the last person on here who should be dishing out advice on mental health.

Im sure it helps some people Sludge and if it helps your own mental health giving advice to others then carry on butt. We dont always see eye to eye but im sure your intentions are always meant in good faith when you talk about mental health.

One of the more positive aspects of social media and especially this year with all that’s gone on is people can reach out to others if they are struggling. I’ve seen quite a few people admit on Twitter that they are really struggling and it always gets a caring response from many people, often strangers. When I wasn’t well a colleague who had also had a breakdown text me and said he knew what I was going through and things would get better. It meant a lot coming from someone with experience of depression and gave me hope o would get well too, which I did.

Sadly, I’m seeing a lot of younger people reaching out but on the flip side at least they are reaching out and not bottling up. Thanks to people like yourself and others who champion talking about mental health it’s not such a taboo subject for the next generation.

Here's something to warm the cockles of your heart - JR Hartley and Sludge Factory buddying up!

Not so very long ago, Hartley was repeatedly suggesting Sludge was a deranged sex case, while Sludge was threatening Hartley with legal action and messaging me every ten minutes to tell me he thought JRH was the nastiest **** who'd ever posted on here. Now these two old enemies are apparently brothers in arms! How wonderful!

It really must be the season of goodwill.

I think there will always be a stigma but the younger generation do seem to get it . The problem is the services for young people are very poor .

All tongue in cheek Dave. Let’s not turn this around to me. You should be ashamed of yourself with what you’ve posted to Sludge in this thread, although I doubt it very much, you’re too arrogant to have thoughts for anyone but yourself.

Anyway, pretty sure after what youve posted with such venomous bile on this thread that Sludge will want to revise his opinion on who’s the nastiest **** to ever post on here. To get that personal and about someone who’s supposed to be a friend takes a special kind of ****. With friends like you who needs enemies?

I hope you have a shit Xmas you spiteful bastard.

You have serious problems, and hope you get the help you need.

Try and be on your best behaviour for Xmas........are they having a laugh ? .......the virus will spread , then we will be tough on you after allowing you to party and then , when its too late , the NHS will have to put up with a huge surge into the new year

But we have done our best because we got tough on the 28th , after everyone mixed, went shopping and spread the virus

Donkeys , England, Scotland and Wales
There is a new strain of the virus. The experts, we await the Lone Gunman's final say, say this strain spreads easier. The ministers know this but, rather than impose strict restrictions on us all, are looking for your vote instead. Yes, many people won't listen to the rules, but most people do. You have people who, because it is allowed, will be visiting and celebrating Christmas with family. As soon as they are told not to, they won't. This is how to dampen the spread of the virus.

5 days of getting together and the experts say that will cause a ripple, and then a wave. One Christmas to save next Christmas. This will be out of control by January. High infection rates mean - NO VACCINATIONS. One Christmas on Skype, is it really so difficult?
