I've posted before that Mike Young is the brother of my grand-daughters grandfather. She is doing her 'A' levels in art and media studies (already got a distinction) and after seeing her folio, Mike has given her an assignment as her work experience.

I played for Pentyrch under 10s and we were sponsored by Mike. We had the SuperTed logo on our shirts similar to the City kit.

If anyone knows Mike and he is interested, I think I still have a team photo that I could scan.

If you sit down with a pencil and paper and carefully draw a family tree (bearing in mind that my g-dau has two grandpas), you'll see where I'm a-coming from :-)

On the other hand, maybe life's too short.....

Mike is a lovely guy and massive city fan.

Bizarrely I spotted a superted episode on a local tv station in Africa once and mentioned it to Mike... He was delighted to see it so widely seen.

Splash entertainment has pumped out a lot of kids cartoons over the years and stillbdo i believe.

His daughter was in my class in school, I can recall feeling sorry for her when she said she was leaving cardiff to go and live in LA…. my father in law is mates with Mike too as a fellow cartoonist. Still hoping he persuades his chums at Disney to buy ccfc and sponsor us so Matt gets the dream scenario….
