I've given up, apart from being a lottery, the grand national is an accident waiting to happen. I have bet on it for donkeys years, but heard yesterday that two horses have died in the last two days at Aintree, that was the straw that broke the camels back for me, I wont even watch it now. Seeing those poor animals rolling around when falling in what must be horendous pain all for the pleasure of us is a bridge too far for me.

I’ve backed both he says and in a reverse forecast

I’m not a big believer in coincidence AND the always tenuous links to the jockey or trainer and can honestly say I haven’t backed a horse since last August but when I shared my odd experience with my daughter she couldn’t resist having a fiver e/w on each plus a small reverse f/c

I’m only sharing this now because IF either were to win you definitely wouldn’t believe me if I posted this story after the race 🏇

The race is delayed because protesters have gotten on to the course.
