  • Rotherham will it be another "Derby"?

Ironically i believe the derby snowgate day and the rotherham watergate day were both 18th march.

For the derby game they had a lot of players out and didnt seem keen to play the game then we know what happened...... only for rearranged game to be on sky and inevitably their players are back and they beat us live on sky.

Rotherham apparently had players out and we know what happened with the rain.... now its live on sky.....

We may have crumbled in the last half hour anyway but had we held on that day wed have gone 1 point behind swansea. Obviously we didnt and they looking at play offs now and we still right in a relegation battle. Lets hope history doesnt strike twice!

You may very well be right. One bright spot is that our recent away form has been better than our home form so I am hopeful of a result there.
Generally our form v Rotherham has been very good over the years.

A point at Rotherham will mean Reading have to get something from Wigan H to still have a chance of passing Cardiff.

Wigan have won their last two games against Stoke and Millwall so it's not going to be an easy day for Reading.

So many possibilities. Cardiff need four points to guarantee safety but that reduces to three points required providing those three points come by beating Huddersfield.

Yes and rotherham in exactly same position as us with middlesborough and wigan to come following us.

Both teams would love a point. With reading having worse goal difference than us and rotherham if we do play out a draw then anything less than 6 points for reading means they cant overtake either.

Doing a quick look at league tables over last 12 years:
3rd bottom team finished with 45 or less points on 8 occasions
On only 4 occasions did the 3rd last team get 46 or more.
Surely a point will be enough.

You’d hope so, I think that penalty goes in yesterday and we would have been safe.

1 point agents Huddersfield is enough I think.
