  • Rotherham Messageboard

Reading the post match comments from their fans, not one of them said that City didn't deserve to win the game, which has to be a first. Other than slating their own manager for tactical ineptitude, they said that Cardiff were a physical and fast side and the only team looking to win the match. Glad we were able to oblige !

I liked that City went in for every 50/50. No-one looked a shirker.

The goal we conceded was daft, but all is forgiven.

NG was appealing to the ref instead of going for the ball, it should have been disallowed for the blatant push.

We were the better team, their keeper made some great saves keeping them in the game.

Well done Lamouchi, that was a definite must-win game with Huddersfield only a few days later.

To be fair I don’t think there was any lack of effort from either team.

They started time wasting, loads of their players going down with cramp, keeper placing the ball and then walking to the other side of the box. They had no interest in going for the win.

Goal we conceded identical to v Stoke. Rotherham obviously did some work on that ploy.

Funnily enough I’d said exactly the same about city, literally about a minute before we scored

Warnock will have as well, expect more and corners dropping close to the goal with Alnwick blocked in.
