Did anyone see the CCTV clip on the news yesterday of a fella going to throw a bag of rubbish in the communal wheelie bin and a grizzly bear jumped out

Re: Don't go fishing in Australia!
I was sea fishing once from the shore at Huskisson, Jervis Bay about 3 hours south of Sydney. In the very same spot where I'd been casting there was a great white shark seen swimming in the harbour approach a few months later. The family had been swimming in the area but no way was I going in. I've also been in the area north of Cairns where there was a good chance of salt water crocs, great whites and jellyfish and saw a 6m long croc on the Daintree River that'd been munching on a cow which had got in the water.
