Who would have thought that Neville would go on to have a long and successful career?

So many of the actors became household names after appearing in it. Great characters, great programme.

Superb comedy by the writers of Porridge and The Likely Lads and way ahead of predictable crap like Only Fools and Horses.

Having worked as a labourer on German building sites at that time (albeit for fun and not through Dutch agents) the one thing that grated for me was the depiction of Dennis's gang drinking bottled beer in German pubs.

By the way, I watched a Scandi-drama last week in which Moxey played an ex-KGB agent.

The accommodation they had was a bit far fetched....well it was compared to some of the shitholes I lived in when working over there:hehe: Excellent television and still worth a watch.

I only ever saw him once, doing some patching with Carlite Browing, he was pushing way too hard on the trowel :hehe: Brilliant show though, spot on with the characters, and Ali Frazers girlfriend in that green Bikini.........

White dungarees, hawk loaded, cup of tea, talking a great job, doing F all :hehe: do you still bother ? I'd gotten the impression it's something you do not pursue nowadays. I had some plastering done yesterday, ceiling, 1 alcove, and 4 walls down to the dado rail, (2 of them) did it in a day which I thought was decent as they had to contend with the 80's Artex beneath it :hehe:

Still doing it, Although much easier these days. 2 of them should get that done in a day. It makes a massive difference when there's 2 people on the trowel

In one scene she’s wearing some very revealing lingerie.
