I don't normally look into the lower leagues but stumbled across this lad when looking at League one's top scorers.

Not much use with our EFL transfer embargo in place but I don't believe I'd even heard mention of him on here before?

Anyone seen the boy play?

I saw him a few years ago for FGR. Always fancied him in our midfield pushing forward.

Strange award considering seven players in the division scored more goals than Collins.

He’s 25 (26 in a few days) and has already had no less than ten clubs - five permanent, five loans.

There was lot of interest from bigger clubs in his first pro season with Newport - he ended up going to Wolves at 19 which in retrospect might not have been a great moved for him as he struggled to gain any experience.

Since leaving Wolves 3 seasons ago I think we're seeing what he's all about. I'm convinced he'll be a good championship player...but probably not with us as Rovers are looking for a big fee.
