He's an animal, he must have known he hit her over and decided to continue to drive over her, drunk is not an excuse he probably just wanted to try and get away rather than stop.

Agreed there is no excuse, lock him up for ten years at least, set an example.

Horrific video - didn’t stop either, 2 years way too light a sentence. Did someone film that or is it a fixed camera?

There should be a zero alcohol limit
No excuse for drink driving
I was drinking in the Muni on City Road with Dai Taxi and a few of the boys
The late Carl Tritchler the former owner of Dragon Taxis was pissed up and starting in the bar
He was always a nasty fella in a drink
He was letching on to one of the boys wife and a few punches were thrown
Carl left
Unbeknown to everyone he was waiting in his car outside
When the fella he’d had handbags with left with his wife he mounted the kerb at speed and ran them over
The wife was pushed out of the way but Carl reversed back over the fella for good measure
He then sped off
All captured on CCTV
The fella was badly injured but made a recovery
Carl was arrested the same night and after being found guilty in Crown court was jailed
