I didn't realise it was that low. Guessing the statistic would be very similar if 3rd in the championship played 3rd bottom in the premierOriginally posted by Pedro de la Rosa View Post1 side in 10 has beaten the Bundesliga side in these playoffs. It is a complete waste of time.

Re: Glatzel in play offs on Sky
Well, seeing we reportedly sold Glatzel for about fifteen per cent of what we paid for him, you would have thought that there should be quite a large sell on clause for him, but that’s the first time I’ve heard mention of one.Originally posted by 19bluebirds27 View PostClearly has something about him.
I heard the commentator mention a possible sell on fee for him as he may attract interest from the Bundesliga.
But such is the way our lot negotiate - I doubt that they had the foresight when we sold him.
Didn’t the goals dry up a bit for him towards the end of the season?
A club of Hamburg’s size shouldn’t have to bother with the Play Offs, they really should have been able to secure a top two finish by now, but the fact they haven’t is a source of both mirth and joy to me.

Really good article on Union Berlin hereOriginally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostTell that to the Union Berlin fans while they’re watching Champions League football next season.
Encounters between Hertha Berlin and Union Berlin have become a regular event on the footballing calendar since the latter's top-flight promotion in 2019. The Berlin derby returns again on Matchday 18 of 2022/23 as the eyes of the world fall on the German capital for a fixture that brings together football, politics and history in a once divided city.
It’s a friendly derby but Hertha fans can’t be happy losing the bragging rights after a century of being the dominant Berlin club, Hertha have only won 1 of their 7 meetings since Unions promotion. I drive around Berlin Autoring regularly and Union dominates the motorway graffiti (it’s a thing inGermany)

Re: Glatzel in play offs on Sky
Yeah, I was surprised it was that low. Looking at the stats, it is actually 3 B2 winners out of the last 15 - and some of the games where the B1 teams have won have been ridiculously close (away goals, a.e.t. etc). Hardly a waste of time.Originally posted by Harry Lime View PostI didn't realise it was that low.
