Tom Lockyer has Atrial Fibrulation, which means that his heart was out of rhythm.
I assume that they will have given him a 'shock' and successfully corrected his heart. This treatment doesn't mean that your heart is perfect going forward, as it could re-occur. Also, he will be on an anti-coagulant and beta blocker for the long term.Comment

This has been going on since way before covid. My next door neighbours son died of this aged 20 odd in the mid 90's. His mother set up the charity Craig's heartstrong foundation that screens as many late teen early 20 sportspeople that they can but mainly in the northwest.
