They've always done that. The year they signed Bale they also brought in Isco, Carvajal & Casemiro - all 21 or under

They brought in Odriozola at 22, Kovacic at 21, Militao & Ceballos at 20, Jovic, Asensio, Lunin, Diaz & Hernandez at 19, Camavinga, Kubo, Vinicius & Rodrygo at 18, Reinier at 17, Endrick & Odegaard at 16. They've always brought in the most talented young players as well as the big names, not all of them work out but this is nothing new.

Sorry mate, they haven't bought any notable players since Hazard in 2019 who was a flop. They did pick up a couple of free transfers but the emphasis has been signing young players. The days of the Galacticos are over.

Of course, same as Nagelsmann the best manager ever, and got sacked in a 1 horse race as he was blowing it :hehe:

Also, clever clogs has not once mention Valverde, probably better than anything else Madrid has currently and just signed. F*cking sanctimonious fraud, get out of town, stick to the other board, this one is for football and you have proven time and again you are out of your depth here.

Valverde was signed by Real Madrid when he turned 18 in 2016.

10 time Bundesliga and 2 time Champions League winner David Alaba isn't a notable player? French international Tchouameni isn't a notable player? 24 time England international Jude Bellingham isn't a notable player? They're doing the same thing that they've been doing for a while, they're not reinventing the wheel

Practically all the guys listed are notable players as well, they are or were the brightest talents around when they were signed

Alaba was a free signing mate, please keep up at the back! The latter two were bought for their age profile.

It's still a notable player they've signed, doesn't matter if a fee was involved. They sign players because they're very good footballers, some of the best and most promising in the world, as they normally do

You look at the team that won La Decima and the ages they were signed - Casillas (academy), Carvajal (21), Ramos (19), Varane (18), Coentrao (23), Khedira (23), Modric (26), di Maria (22), Bale (24), Ronaldo (24), Benzema (22). Only one signed when they were older than 24! They've not really been in the business of buying a team full of old stars for a while.

                      Re: Bellingham

Haaland aside, how many mega-money Bundesliga exports actually fulfill their price tag?

I think its a league that can flatter players.

Bellingham is a good player but 100 mill is very steep.

recently Sancho, Havertz, Keite, Werner, Mkhataryan and Bobby Glatzel :hehe:

Yes, and is their best midfielder.....my point, Madrid bought a new midfield player (very good, we don't need you to tell us that, we are not missing anything). I suggested (not my own thoughts, i couldn't care less, Rayo is my team. However i read the Madrid sports media and have eyes) that perhaps they needed other areas strengthening. You then talked shite about Madrid's midfield in the future as if we are all ignorant and have been living in the hills, YET not once, once, mentioned Valverde in this future super group of midfielders. Instead you mentioned Tchouameni who cost 80 million (more or less bale/hazard) as if you personally discovered him, who has been sh1te, and Camavinga who played as left back. Get back to the other board, this is not your place.
