Tablet advice , running slow , freezing

Its a Samsung tab a , less than 200 quid but I have been really pleased with it

Whats the shelf life of low end tablets ?

Its only 2 years old

I don't use it for banking or have loads of apps , is there anything I can do to speed it up or is it time to get a new one ?

Factory reset

Youll lose all the photos youve taken of Mandy in number 5 though.

Will that feck up my passwords etc ?

I use a high intensity digital camera for that and get the photos processed by a mate of mine

I like a hard copy

It will delete all your passwords and you will have to type them in again but you wont lose them all together.

Have you deleted internet history?

Had my Tab A for years its been brilliant better than Se5 which is double the price .

Perhaps factory reset take off all apps in settings you can clear up space, off load unwanted files to SD cards

Some sites have bugs in them which slow things down. I won't comment on which sites bugs are particularly prevalent but you will know which sites you visit. A factory reset seems to be your best bet but make a note of your passwords and favourites first as well as saving photos.

Had my Tab A for years its been brilliant better than Se5 which is double the price .

No but I don't store on it only web as it doesn't have much grunt , its wi fi connection is very good.

Try deleting you history by day or week rather than all time clearing .

Always delete browsing history after every porn watch I know that's a hard one 😃.

I find deleting history every day helps keep it smooth

By store do you mean having a list of favourite sites via bookmarks

Or photos or apps ?

Because I don't have much of any of the above
