Surprised no comment on here...(even though I realise it's a CCFC message board...). What are thoughts on Michael Duff...? Seems like a decent appointment to me...

He did a really good job at Cheltenham and I think Barnsley over performed. He’s a really likeable guy, however, he doesn’t seem to fit the mould of recent Jacks appointments.

Sounds like a bit of a Duff appointment to me.

For anyone interested, as a player Mike Duff has never been on the winning side away to Cardiff City, drawing 4 and losing 5. He's tasted victory over us twice in 13 games overall, losing 7.

They will probably sell him on like they often do……

                        Re: New Swansea Manager

He'll get them playing in a different way, effective, a mash up of controlled long ball and quick passing. With hardly any money they'll be around the playoffs for the next couple of seasons and he'll grab three young players from lower league clubs and get a fantastic return on two them financially when both are sold to Wolves after they are relegated from the premier league. The fans will hate him, because he's not Martinez or Laudrup. He'll leave Swansea for Brentford in 2026.

So the new Swansea manager is not a potential paedophile then, that's a relief!

My Cheltenham colleagues think he might be punching above his weight.

If Martin Devaney follows him as 2nd in command, then it will be interesting.
