I wouldn't read too much into the Wales performances, the whole team have been a shambles tactically.

surely a deeper role is less physically demanding than a more attacking midfielder?

I agree alongside a Wintle or a Ralls. I’m sure he has more in him than Sawyers did playing in a two.

I was hugely underwhelmed by Mark Kennedy, and he was pretty good for us and an excellent diarist
