Fred Stewart came immediately to mind, he managed us for 22 years, 1911- 1933, must have hit the 1000 mark with us alone, with Welsh Cup & FA Cup alongside league games (both Southern & Football).

Just checked, he managed Stockport on 509 occasions and us on 605, so didn’t hit the 1000 with us alone although he would have had a few more due to the 14/18 war break. Longest serving manager at both clubs.
