It's always amazed me that the Docks and Grangetown hasn't produced lots of footballers for CCFC

Quite a few have gone on to play the egg shaped game and a few of them to a pretty good standard

They used to have some talented kids in Butetown football team when I played against them, not an away game I used to look forward too… I’m sure plenty could have gone on to play professionally but didn’t stick with it

It's always seemed strange that we don't see more youngsters from Butetown and Grangetown on City's books

The rugby league boys , the lads playing for Cardiff RFC ....why not CCFC

To play football professionally it takes natural ability, combined with attitude, if kids don't progress it's because they are too weak in one or both areas.

Walked past it yesterday from a distance and wondered what/who it was ! Is it a private commission, because if it isn't I wish the council would spend a bit of money on tidying up the place. Walking round the Cardiff bay Hotel it's dreadful and nearly derelict.

No it’s at the south east tip of the graving docks. Look at google maps and find the graving docks. It is on the bottom right tip if the map is aligned to north
