It's different these days than it was in the 40's.Originally posted by splott parker View PostVery surprised that unaccompanied under 14 year olds aren’t allowed (if I read it correctly). I must have been going down the City on my own at around 8 years of age, certainly way before 14.

I remember when the family enclosure opened late 70s I used to go with the old man.Originally posted by splott parker View PostVery surprised that unaccompanied under 14 year olds aren’t allowed (if I read it correctly). I think it was 25p or 50p if accompanied by an adult.
A load of kids used to ask my old man if he'd take them in. Most were under 14.

Re: CCFC Home Supporter Guide 23/24
It's very good. One thing that struck me is that the guide states the largest attendance at Ninian Park was in 1953 against Arsenal (57893). I recall being at our match against Aston Villa some years later when I thought the attendance was above 60k. Various sites on the internet confirm that the 1953 match against Arsenal was the highest attendance so presumably that is correct and I am not. Does anyone know if the 1953 figure is correct?

Anyone know the 'unofficial' standing areas, is it still 104-108? I've seen people in 109 trying to stand but the stewards were quick to seat them, I've always stood in 108 - maybe halfway up and everyone around me stands and we've never been told to sit down (thank goodness!)
