You could just buy a USB keyboard, about 10 quid online, just plug it into you laptops USB port, it should autodetect and away you go

Until that eventuality, how about instead of a 't' use a different character which you would rarely use, say a hashtag or asterix, then at the end of the blog do a 'find and replace' 'replace all'
