Jonny Bairstow set the tone with a 4-ball duck as the Fire were bowled out for 87, the joint worst score in the competition's history. This included a hat-trick with the final 3 balls to some utterly ridiculous shots.

Southern Brave decided not to offer similar charity and won with 41 balls remaining.

One little thing that made me laugh - the tannoy announcer after 20, 40 and 60 balls did his utmost to get the crowd going and cheering. Welsh Fire lost wickets with the 21st, 41st and 61st balls!
