On the face of it you'd seriously doubt if this had legs, but he was also involved in a bizarre incident in the game v Chelsea. Close to the touchline in line with the West Ham penalty area, he stopped playing and appealed to the referee for a foul over something completely innocuous leaving the Chelsea player to take the ball and make for goal. Can't find it online, but something I've never seen before.

He was being dragged back off the ball by his wrist. He appealed to the linesman, who clearly couldn't have seen it from that angle and wist he was appealing, as you say, the chelsea played carried on. -
