This is the sort of thing which makes cricket such a great and unique game. Have a look at the sight screen arrangement in this video (you’ll see what I mean a few minutes into it). It turns out that besides a road, there’s also a river in front of the sightscreen. The best thing is though that this ground (Worksop) was frequently used for Nottinghamshire first class games until 1998 - Viv Richards is supposed to have hit a six over the houses behind the sight screen although it’s not clear whether he was playing forGlamorgan at the time.
