Re: Sheffield Wednesday statement
If he doesn't put any more money in and the club is losing £2m a month, then it doesn't take a genius to work out what will happen next. Plus he should be clever enough to work out that if he reduced ticket prices, more people would go and income would go up. Their ticket prices are ridiculous.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday statement
The ticket price bit was weird, given the prices and Ill feeling around the club to be about 10 k from capacity isn't bad. There's no way if they sold out at current prices he would reduce themOriginally posted by dml1954 View PostIf he doesn't put any more money in and the club is losing £2m a month, then it doesn't take a genius to work out what will happen next. Re: Sheffield Wednesday statement
Some stark familiarities on that post. Look at Swansea now.
If the results are bad the owners are killing the club.
If results are good no one pays a blind bit of notice to the owners
Not many championship clubs break even and it's been this way for as long as I can remember.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday statement
Wednesday are a big club
They have great support
But since they were last in the top flight they have become a yo yo club between the championship and league one
If the owner leaves I would imagine the present situation will continue unless huge money is involved and invested
