Today saw us score a rare equaliser. In fact, it looked for a long time like we would actually have a win coming back from behind. However, our stats when we've conceded the first goal read as follows:

Times we've conceded the first goal - 5 (ranked joint 3rd)
Points won after conceding the first goal - 0 (ranked joint bottom)

Only Sheffield Wednesday join us in having won no points at all after conceding first.

Thankfully, we've scored the opener on 10 occasions (3rd best in the division), winning 7, drawing 2 and losing 1 (11th best in the division).

While we've scored 2 equalisers this season, we have conceded 6 equalisers (only 2 sides have conceded more).

We've conceded the last goal of the game on 8 occasions, scoring the last goal on 7. Of the 7 times we scored the last goal, 4 were to extend a lead, 2 were winning goals and 1 was a consolation. Of the 8 times we conceded the last goal, 1 was to extend a lead, 4 were winning goals, 2 were equalisers and 1 was a consolation.

We have the best first have defensive record in the division but the third worst second half defensive record.

Bulut might say we didn't fight or concentrate, but from what I've heard, we didn't turn up in the second half. It's yet another game where we've been ahead and didn't have a go at putting the game away. It's the one blot on Bulut's otherwise very good copy book.

We barely turned up in the first half Eric.

The first half wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. At least we were able to turn it. All three of the goals we conceded were from shoddy defending. I don't know what the hell McGuinness was doing for their first. His positioning was terrible, and then he just stood there like a statue. I can't help thinking that if NG had played the result would have been different.

        I agree with this.
Ng has been brilliant all season.
Not just defensively, but as a reliable outlet for our counter attack.
