  • Is it too early for a beer?

Just cut the grass and done some tidying up.

    A brew won't cut it.

Still smarting after driving down to see that debacle on Sat.

Might give it half an hour then crank open a Proper Job

Just poured a bottle of Fullers having cleared up the bloody leaves.

    Feel I have earned it.

It's never too early for a beer. Sprits, yes. But never beer.

6pm on a normal working day. Lunchtime in the pub when going to a home match on a weekend. Earlier if going away on the train.

I see it as a relaxing reward after completing the daily work / tasks.

Have in the past been for a lunchtime pint but it knocks me out unless I'm going to the game or to be on it all day.

Afraid I dont drink much now anyway

I know what you mean, but of all the inconsequential dilemmas we have, this one probably well represented outside the first world as well

Do expect any member of this messageboard to have third-world problems?

Must admit I’m a few beers in but have the excuse of being in Saigon and stumbled across a tap room with some very good local brews.

Amazed to see how many people having a beer at the 'spoons when i go in for a breakfast, I suppose airport rules apply.
