Until the Chiefs are out of it I won't be picking against Mahomes, their offence seems to have switched on at the most opportune time.

Felt sorry for the Bills fans having to watch them go for that fake punt :hehe::hehe::hehe:

Don't worry, they can always send the video of that to You've Been Framed and get £250 if they want.

Fair play to the Chiefs. Really good when it mattered, as you say, having stuttered through most of the season. The Bills were in the perfect position with two minutes left and couldn't get it done, hard to feel too much sympathy for them.

Getting lucky tonight, Ravens throwing it away! Although it'll be nice if the 9ers can get revenge in the Suber Owl.

The Ravens got lucky that Kansas declared when they got to 17 as Andy Reid turned into Jose Mourinho for the second half. The bus parking and running down the clock made the final score look respectable, which was more than Baltimore deserved. Their lack of discipline was ridiculous and Lamar Jackson was poor, the pass that got intercepted in the endzone made Buffalo's punt fake last week look like genius. He should do a Paula Vennells and hand his MVP award back if he wins it.

Set up to be a decent Super Bowl now, hard one to call.

The KC corners & safeties had a superb 2nd half, Jackson had nowhere to go. Pacheco has been a major bonus and gives them great options

Weird to see Kansas have to punt as much as they did in the second half but they were defending so well they didn't need to take any risks. Just had to keep it simple and avoid the turnovers and penalties that have crept into their game this season and could've changed the momentum yesterday.

They made it hard for Jackson, of course, but he didn't help himself either. A lot of talk about how his arm has improved over the years but there was little evidence of that. The Ravens weren't great in a number of ways but Jackson had to lead by example and drag the team through it somehow. I felt Josh Allen did that last week without much support, even though it ended in defeat, and he's done it before against the Chiefs. Burrow too, but Jackson was found wanting. We'll see how Purdy does.

Jackson never looked comfortable all game, and Kelsey was ridiculous….showing off in front of his g/f !

Was wonderful to see Lamar falling apart. That throw to himself summed it up. Far more confident (that doesn't mean I am confident) on beating Manholes, Kelsey and Swift in the big one! #FTTB

Just worry about Mahomes and Kelce, I don't think Swift will be getting a run out to be honest. I know Andy Reid loves his trick plays but surely the insurance premiums would rule it out. Maybe she'd be good to kick an extra point, we'll see.

I get the confidence thing totally. The Ravens would've bullied the 49ers into submission if they'd gone through but it's a 50/50 game now.

                      Re: Chiefs

My first NFL game yesterday as me and my eldest were at Wembley to see Jacksonville Jaguars play the New England Patriots. I'm not a bucket list kind of person but my boys had set it up as a birthday present and, while I hadn't wanted them to go to the trouble and expense of arranging it, I'm glad they did.

Apart from anything else, it was a really good game. Considering they were both 1-5 going into it, the quality was excellent I thought. The Jaguars were an absolute shit show (stop me if I'm getting too technical) against Chicago last week and it looked like the same again as Drake Maye was picking them apart early on and they were giving away silly penalties to go 10-0 down.

Then, out of nowhere, the Jaguars played an almost perfect second quarter. Trevor Lawrence was brilliant, the catches stuck and the running game got going. And, just as I was wondering what it would be like to see a kick returned for a touchdown, Parker Washington did exactly that and ran a kick-off return back 96 yards. Theatrical finish too, great bit of sport.

Maye kept going but the Patriots never quite got back in touch and lost 32-16 in the end. Good game, glad I was there to see it. I guess all it lacked was a dramatic finish but Reindorf gave me that tonight so I can't be greedy. One more thing, Tank Bigsby is a great name.

Another great game between the Chiefs and the Bills last night, what a rivalry that's been the past few years. You've got to feel for Josh Allen, he's turning into the AFC's version of Jimmy White. Brilliant again and, surely, one dropped catch from glory but Mahomes had the last word as he's wont to do. The Super Bowl should be close too, only an idiot would try and call it. I think the Chiefs will win.

                          Lol.

Gutted not to see the bills get there. I don't know if the chiefs are just very lucky, or very good in tight situations. Probably both. But what they've done this season in close games is statistically crazy.

I’ll go as the idiot then. Saquon Barkley. Eagles to win by 10

The big 50/50 calls always seem to go the chiefs way.

Bills were extremely unlucky with some calls bordering robbed.

Yes, they've given the law of averages a real pounding this season.

Mahomes is a phenomenon, not at his best this season but still finding ways to get the job done. Reid and Spagnuolo mix things up all the time, it must be a nightmare trying to outthink them. So many 'fringe' players stepping up with big plays too. They've ridden their luck at times but they're a tough nut to crack.

Of course, Barkley might run riot in a fortnight, as Des says, but I won't die of shock if the Chiefs get the better of him and Hurts and win another close one.
