He was caretaker for a few months in a season where Liverpool finished 2nd. Houllier started and ended the season, so I dare say it would be incorrect to credit the 2nd place entirely to Thompson in the same way that Atkinson and Keegan both had full seasons in charge when their respective clubs were runners-up.Originally posted by Cardiff-Cal View PostComment
