Our strikers have been asked to play the lone target man role for years now. Ugbo is not that type of striker, but very few of the ones we've played in that role have been as well.

I liked him and thought he would do well as a front 2.

Both his goals came from players getting to the bye-line and cutting back/crossing the ball.A trait that we don't possess seemingly.

Totally agree. He's a decent finisher but unsuited to what he was asked to do. Etete should be a better focal point but not as good a finisher but he's not delivered yet. We'll see if Diedhiou can deliver where others failed.
